The Entebbe Botanical Gardens

The Gardens are a 15-20 -minutes Walk from Jet Villas Entebbe ( JVE ) LLocated just behind the famous Victoria Mall. These Gardens Relate back Colonial times and contain many old and beautiful trees and flowers that include palm trees and many plants of medicinal use, Yet this Rainforest environment here is said to have hosted old movie – Tarzan! A number of bird species such as Turacos, Sunbirds, Hornbills and Parrots among others use these Gardens as home, yet the Colobus Monkey and Black Faced Vervet Monkies are permanent Residents of the Entebbe Botanical Gardens. It may be worth a picnic to go with from Jet Villas Entebbe.

Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Center (UWEC), popularly known as Entebbe Zoo

Located 15 minutes from Entebbe International Airport, 36 kilometers from Uganda’s capital Kampala. The centre cares for rescued animals, often victims of bush meat trade, habitat destruction, or illegal trade. Individuals that can make it in the wild, are released back. You can sign up as an animal surrogate mother for a day, participate in behind the scene experiences or simply spend a night in our hostel or African cottages as you await your flight or meeting! Our facility is ideal for both short and long stay/ visits, whilst in Uganda. Secure day and night parking available or quick access to public transport/ taxi is just a call away.

Mabamba Swamp

Basing from Jet Villas Entebbe, the Hotel can organize you a full day or Half-day trip to Mabamba Swamp that is famous for dug our Canoes or Motor boats on the swamp in search of the elusive Shoebill Stork. You will need to book a day before with the Activity Desk at Jet Villas Entebbe .

Fishing or Sailing on Lake Victoria

We can arrange transfers to Kampala and or Jinja the Source of the Nile and beyond using a reputable Cab drivers. e will also arrange a Kampala City Tour on request.

Ngamba Island Visit

A half and full-day trip to the Ngamba Chimpanzee Island Sanctuary can be arranged
by prior notice. We can supply packed lunches for the excursion.

We will organize your Fishing trip or just sailing on the Mighty Lake Victoria Waters,. Advance notice is required for us to organize this trip. This can also be combined with a sunset Cruise. On Lake Victoria

Sunset cruises can be chartered on the lake with prior notice. Transport and from the departure point can also be arranged.
